Princess Khotulun is the daughter of Haidu Khan of the Ugudei dynasty. The film tells the story of Princess Khotulun, the son of Kublai Khan, known in Western and Eastern history as a wrestling princess, and her struggle to reclaim her Golden Sutra.
This film is about a beautiful young innocent girl coming home after graduating a ballet school in USSR only to meet obstacles in her life caused by political repression and others ambition to gain promotion.
The story begins when two young men from Erdenet enter the city to change their lives. The city welcomes them better than they could have imagined. But in the end, everything goes wrong and they find out who they are in this life. The film conveys the meaning that people will receive the consequences of their actions, whether they like it or not.
