Tina Wiseman was born in Pearl Harbor Hospital in Hawaii. Her father was a sailor based in Hawaii (he was raised on a farm in Ohio). Her mother was born and raised in American Samoa. Tina moved to Hawaii to continue her education. She was a Samoan princess, being the granddaughter of the high chief who founded the village of Futinga in American Samoa. Tina first studied to be a healer like her Samoan grandmother, but soon discovered that she had a passion to sing and act. She was featured in dozens of commercials and print ads and numerous independent films. Most recently she starred alongside Jon Jacobs (Lucinda's Spell (1998)) and Charlotte Lewis (The Golden Child (1986)) in the Miami dance movie DJ Hound Dog (2003). She recorded three dance tracks "Storm Cloud", "Telekinetic" and "Island Girl" for the soundtrack of DJ Hound Dog (2003), all of which were played in the nightclubs of Miami and appear on the movie's soundtrack album. She was also the DJ in the VIP lounge at "Billboard Live in South Beach". Sadly, Tina passed away on February 20, 2005, in the Bahamas from a pulmonary edema.
