A military trial is being held in a certain federal state in a corner of Europe. The defendant's name is Thierry Sinclair, and the charge is murder of his superior. The setting is Firenze (Florence), Italy, in the 1850s, where the Unification of Italy was beginning. Antonio is a sharp and virtuous young noble who is the oldest son of a marquis family. He meets Pamela, who used to be a singer at a bar but has now become the widow of a noble. He is charmed by her eyes that are deep with emotion and falls in love with her. Takarazuka's 2022 Flower Troupe adaptation of the 1935 American musical of the same name which tells the story of an American dancer, Jerry Travers, comes to London to star in a show produced by the bumbling Horace Hardwick. While practicing a tap dance routine in his hotel bedroom, he awakens Dale Tremont (Ginger Rogers) on the floor below. She storms upstairs to complain, whereupon Jerry falls hopelessly in love with her and proceeds to pursue her all over London.
As there are increasing performances in the Takarazuka Revue, in 1921, the Flower Troupe and the Moon Troupe were born, and the first Flower Troupe performance was held. The year 2021 celebrates the 100th anniversary for the Flower Troupe. And in this performance, it will be led by the new top combi Yuzuka Rei and Hoshikaze Madoka. Ray Yuzuka (柚香 光/ゆずか れい /Yuzuka Rei, March 5th 1992) is a Japanese actress and former Top Star of the Flower Troupe in the Takarazuka Revue Company (2019-2024) She is affiliated with the talent agency Stardust Promotions.
