Born in Limerick, Ireland and raised in Newport, Tipperary. Mark de Carreau grew up in a family with a strong background in the arts, primarily music. Mark grew up with an interest in sports, comedy and impressions. However, it was only in recent years that he delved into the world of acting. His journey began as a background and stand-in for Lee Pace in Apple TV's "Foundation" in 2019, which was filmed in Limerick. Subsequently, he honed his acting skills through formal training with the Stella Adler Studio in New York and received additional guidance from acclaimed acting coaches Tatiana Evonuk and Nigel Mercier in Limerick. These experiences paved the way for Mark to secure more substantial roles in short films and various television and film projects, including "The Life of Lester Wink," in which he starred alongside Pat Shortt, renowned for his work in "Banshee's of Inisherin."
