Maarja Mitt-Pichen (until 2019 Maarja Mitt; born December 8, 1983) is an Estonian actress. She graduated from the Hugo Treffner Highschool in 2002. In the years 2002–2004, she studied Scandinavian languages and culture at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Tartu. In 2008, she graduated from the 23rd year of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater School of Performing Arts. In the years 2010-2014, she was a master's student at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater School of Performing Arts, she has a master's degree in performing arts and voice pedagogy. Since 2015, she has been studying for a doctorate at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. From 2008 to 2013, she was a drama actress at the Vanemuine theater, then she has been a freelancer. From 2014 to 2018, she worked as a voice technique teacher at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater School of Performing Arts. Since 2014, she has also been a stage speech and acting teacher at the Tallinn Music School named after Georg Ots.
