Longtime friends Lau Tak-wing and Chai Hing-chau are eager to be admitted into the Artist Training Programs. In their pursuit for stardom, the pair is joined by Keung Chi-ngan and actress/showbiz baby Wan Chor-yue, among others. Hing-chau struggles to fulfill his ambitions as he’s constantly passed over for roles. Tak-wing becomes an overnight sensation with his most recent role. As their career trajectories go in different directions, their paths continue to inexplicably intersect. As life would have it, their love lives would also take a turn. Tak-wing always has the biggest crush on Chi-ngan’s elder sister Keung Chi-yin. Eventually, he realized his true feelings is with Chi-ngan all along. When Hing-chau finally gets his break with his slapstick comedy routine, his career skyrockets but his relationship with Chor-yue becomes as fragile as ever. To make matters even worse, a feud over contract renewals push Tak-wing and Hing- chau to the tipping point of ending their friendship……
The film chronicles about an aged loan shark who faces a threat from one of his forgotten enemy who seeks a revenge. The consequences from his past life cruelty forces the loan shark as a father to sacrifice big to save his dearest daughter from danger. A long time ago the cruelty of a loan shark had known no bounds. Years later, his past in the form of a vengeful enemy comes to haunt him and threaten his daughter, who gets kidnapped. Now the retired loan shark has to do what his enemy asks of him.
