October 26, 1979, a presidential assassination shakes the nation. Taking on the defense of Park Tae-joo, the secretary involved in the presidential assassination, lawyer Jung In-hoo enters what would be South Korea's most notorious political trial. Despite Park Tae-joo facing a predetermined sentence due to his military status, Jung In-hoo fights tirelessly to ensure a fair trial, enraged by the trial's unfair proceedings.
In addition to the romance between Cha Cha-woong, a magician and employer who handles and manages ghosts, and a passionate female police officer with occult powers, the characters will have to solve a case they coincidentally get swept up in by cooperating with ghosts to uncover clues.
Jin Ki Joo is a South Korean actress under FL Entertainment. She has played supporting roles in television dramas Second 20s, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Misty. Jin Ki-joo was previously an employee of Samsung SDS and then worked as reporter for SBS regional affiliate G1 before starting her acting career. After winning the Olivia Lauren Prize at the 23rd Supermodel Contest in 2014, she made her acting debut in the 2015 television drama “Twenty Again.” She has since appeared in such popular dramas “Splash Splash Love” (2015) and “One More Happy Ending” (2016), as well as the film “Little Forest” (2018). She made a breakthrough in 2018, landing her first lead role in television series with Come and Hug Me In 2019, Jin starred in SBS romantic comedy series The Secret Life of My Secretary.
