A young girl named Ruka, who had been living a wandering life in Osaka, is taken in by Fumi, an elementary school teacher. In 2025, he won Best Male Actor in a Leading Role at the 98th Kinema Junpo Best Ten Awards for his role as Takatoshi Yamazoe in Yoake no Subete (English title: All the Long Nights).
