DESPE invitacional was a professional wrestling event promoted by El Desperado in association with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), due to Desperado being signed with NJPW. The event took place on June 10, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan, at the Korakuen Hall. The event aired live on NJPW's streaming service NJPW World as a pay-per-view (PPV) in both English and Japanese commentaries.

Eita Kobayashi (小林 瑛太) is a Japanese professional wrestler, also known simply as Eita. He began his career with the Dragon Gate professional wrestling promotion, which he is still affiliated with, and has worked matches for their United States-based sister company Dragon Gate USA. He has also worked for Mexican promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) as part of his wrestling training. He is nicknamed "The King of Chop" for his ability to execute the knife edge chop on opponents with such force that it makes a very loud sound on impact.
