Yurka is a self—contained twelve-year-old schoolboy who is grieving the loss of his father. The ordinary course of his life changes when new students appear in the classroom — a brother and a sister. Together they will have to grow up and find out what true friendship is worth.
The year is 1943. Anna Petrova (Katerina Shpitsa) is a combat pilot who was seriously injured. She returned to the rear and works as a leading engineer at an aviation plant, where new Gyrfalcons aircraft are being prepared for testing. The plant's management, unaware of the consequences of her injury, instructs Anna, together with Major Zotov (Alexander Gorbatov), to drive the prototype of the "Gyrfalcon" to the front. In addition to the desire to defeat the enemy and return home with a victory, Anna pursues a personal goal. She is determined to get even with Major Briggel, the German pilot who killed her lover.
General Khadyakov turns sixty. He decides to ditch Moscow for a day and celebrate his birthday in an authentic Russian village with an immersive countryside experience. Fishing, a jolly feast, a visit to the banya, and a farm-style spa - that's the plan, and all of his beloved friends are coming. But the party goes awry: the rich guests manage to turn the whole village against themselves, get into a nasty quarrel and lose all the food.

The cause of the tragedy was a construction project, which wrapped itself around Kuznetsky like a tumour, and which was a source of profit for the authorities and the local builders. The construction “devours” free land, the souls of people and even what seems beyond the law of profit: the family. Neither the death of people, nor common sense can stop the construction…
