Biswajit Chakraborty (October 29, 1948 -) is an Indian film actor who appears predominantly in Bengali films. A veteran of Bengali cinema with over 140 film credits, Biswajit made his debut with the 1993 film Sunya Theke Suru. Notable acting credits include Autograph (2010), Bye Bye Bangkok (2011), Awara (2012), Bhooter Bhabishyat (2012), Jaatishwar (2014), Rajkahini (2015) and Ichchhemotir Gappo (2015). In 2016, the actor forayed into Bollywood with a minor role in the thriller film Kahaani 2 (2016). His notable television credits include Ganer Opare and Bandhan. In 2017, he featured in the Bengali drama Mandobasar Galpo, directed by Tathagata Banerjee. His other releases include Hoyto Manush Noy, Aam Sutra, Chirodiner - Ek Annyo Premer Golpo, Girlfriend, Dotara, Parineeta, Jaanbaaz, Sotoroi September and Hulusthulu, Love Hate Dhoka, Dadagiri, Pappur Biye, Aam Sutra and Bobbyr Bondhura.
