He was repeatedly nominated for the Crystal Simorgh award in the field of the soundtrack at the Fajr Film Festival and received this award twice in 1991 and 1997.
Babak Bayat was a composer who was born in 1946 in Tehran, Iran. He started his career in television and starred in “Vagabond” series by Parviz Kardan in 1973. His most notable activities are “Velayate Eshgh” series by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh and “Corrupted Hands” by Sirous Alvand.
