The film presents episodes from Narekatsi's life, as well as prayers, monologues, and personal spiritual reflections. Part of the filming was done in Western Armenia. Instead of the destroyed Narekavank, they found the caves where Narekatsi and other saints once hid.
At 2 a.m., Garegin Sisakian comes to Michael's house and informs him that he is engaged to a girl named Sarah, whose father was a friend of his father's.
