One Note Symphony: Live In Tel Aviv sees the artist again in concert this time in collaboration with the 'Israel Philharmonic Orchestra'. On this occasion Alan said: Whenever I have the opportunity to play with a Symphony Orchestra, I always try to put into the setlist songs that we otherwise would not be able to perform live, such as the epic Silence and I from the album Eye In the Sky, for example. We also took this opportunity to play The Sorcerer's Apprentice from our latest studio album, The Secret. It is a new version of a well-known classic song written by the Frenchman Paul Dukas which originally appeared in the film Fantasia.

The World Liberty Concert

The World Liberty Concert took place on 8 May 1995 next to the John Frost Bridge in Arnhem in the Netherlands. The concert was held in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the liberation of Europe and is the largest memorial concert ever held in the Netherlands. Performances were provided by Alan Parsons (with Chris Thompson and Mick Mullins), Art Garfunkel, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Wet Wet Wet, Candy Dulfer, UB40 and René Froger.

Biography

Alan Parsons is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He was involved with the production of several significant albums, including the Beatles' Abbey Road and Let It Be, and the eponymous debut album by Ambrosia, as well as Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon. Parsons' own group, The Alan Parsons Project, as well as his subsequent solo recordings, have also been commercially successful. He has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards, with his first win occurring in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album, Eye In The Sky (35th Anniversary Edition).
